This hurry-up-and-wait sport has a great deal of standing or sitting around and then calls upon its players to quickly react to a situation or ball. A middle infielder will have a different workout than a catcher or an outfielder so adapt this routine to the specific needs of your position. Speak to your coach about the specific requirements of your position. As you become more fit, decrease the recovery time and increase the load. The intensity of your training depends on your level of play. If you’re a tournament player, use this routine to prepare yourself for the season.
